Care Leaver forum - CiCC
Your Care Leavers Forum (CLF) is a group of care-experienced young people aged 16-25 who represent those who are leaving care.
Any care experienced young person from age 16 to 25 can join. It's absolutely free to join and you don't need to have done anything like this before. Check out what some of our current members are saying!
You'll have the opportunity to take action on issues that are important to you. Recently, care leaver forum members have been involved in:
- Interviewing Cumbria County Council staff
- Working on projects including mental health and apprenticeships
- Writing blogs and filming vlogs on issues that are important to them
- Judging and presenting awards
- Attending regional and national conferences
The CLF want more young people to get involved in the work that we do. Together, young people have a real opportunity to influence the decisions that affect their lives.
