Local Newspapers
Newspapers have been called the first draft of history. As such there was little or no time for editing and checking casualty reports, so whilst the papers contain much valuable information they also contain some inaccuracies. These indexes have been compiled over the last three years by a group of dedicated volunteers and are the fruits of thousands of hours work. Our thanks to all the volunteers.
