The initial response in the case of a homeless young person is the First Contact script, this is the conversation that you will need to have if they present as homeless to you (and that can be used to refer for supported accommodation, support from the Youth Homeless and Housing Officer, housing-related flexible support from a Housing Intervention Support Worker.
