Encyclopedia Britannica contains comprehensive information on a wide variety of topics. You can use this resource at home as well as in the library. There are 3 versions, junior, student and adult.

To access this resource from home you will need to type in your library card number when prompted. If you are not already a member of the library you can join for free by visiting your local library or you can join the library online.

Britannica Library Junior
Britannica Junior is aimed at children between 5 to 11 and is designed for young enquiring minds. It includes information to help with homework, along with news articles, useful weblinks, videos and games.
Britannica Library Student
Britannica Student is aimed at students from 12 to 18 years. It provides curriculum mapped content that is constantly revised and updated and contains pictures, detailed diagrams and text with additional search tools.
Britannica Library Adult
Britannica Standard gives fast and easy access to high quality, comprehensive information and includes atlases, biographies, timelines, classic works and much more.

Once you have started using one of the sections you can change to a different one by using the tabs at the bottom of the screen.
