Spend the day in the beautiful setting of Footprint, Windermere to explore the colours of the winter landscape. Explore Winter Landscapes workshop shows you how to use mixed media to respond to the landscape through drawing and painting.
What will the workshop cover and how will it be taught?
We aim to go outdoors to observe and sketch as well as work indoors developing winter landscape themes with a focus on colour.
Explore the possibilities of mixing media. This approach allows drawing and painting to develop colour and marks. Using water-based paint and a mixture of drawing materials such as charcoal, inktense and pastel you will be encouraged to work loosely to create dynamic art work.
