Discover the basics of oil painting, such as equipment, surface preparation, colour mixing and painting techniques.
You will learn to:
Prepare and use appropriate surfaces to use oil paint on.
Explore and experiment with a variety of oil painting techniques and colour palettes.
Appreciate some technical methods of using oil paints and develop a personal language with the medium.
Appreciate the work and oil painting techniques of other artists.
