Light the Darkness Messages of Hope
Holocaust Memorial Day is a time when we seek to learn the lessons of the past and recognise that genocide does not just take place on its own. it's a steady process which can begin if discrimination, racism and hatred are not checked and prevented.
Write a message of hope on a candle and add it to our display. This could be as simple as, 'I promise to be kind' or 'I will stand up against hatred'. Because being the light in the darkness starts with all of us.
Pick up a candle at your library or draw your own.
