Discover new ways to record your personal experiences of natural world in your own created art booklets in this short course. Through a series of explorations, you will create images using a range of drawing media in direct response to your observations in and around the beautiful Footprint and National Trust St Catherine's estate in Windermere. Gather your images and develop them further into your personal art book of discoveries.
You will be encouraged to make marks and create textures using drawing materials, and collage, in series of exploratory exercises. In week two the session focuses on creating art booklets, led by artist Elizabeth Shorrock. You will look at ways in which to record and arrange your artwork using a range of paper booklet formats.
The emphasis is very much on practical individual experience with tutor - led demonstrations, discussion, example work, and hand
