The Snow Queen in Kendal
The Snow Queen in Kendal - a family friendly spectacle of theatre, music, puppetry and dance. This exciting Christmas show tells the story of Gerda's journey to find her old friend, Kay, and to rescue him from the frozen bonds of The Snow Queen, who wants to bring a permanent winter to Kendal and the surrounding countryside. Hans Christian Andersen's original fairy tale has been adapted for stage by director, Ginny Moss, and features puppetry, music, dance and theatre. Gerda meets many strange creatures and has many exciting adventures in her quest to stop The Snow Queen, so expect fast-paced storytelling, ensemble fun, physical theatre with audience participation, and an original script with a Kendalian/Cumbria twist.VENUE: Kendal Town Hall
