Starts 8pm | Tickets £20.50 | OTD £22.50 | Theatre Brewery Arts is thrilled to welcome This is the Kit as part of our 50th anniversary celebration programme! This Is The Kit is the musical project of Kate Stables. One of time and change and careful listening. It has carried Stables from Winchester to Bristol to Paris (where she's lived for the last 15 years), and across tours and festivals around the world not to mention a prestigious Ivor Novello nomination. In early spring of 2020, just before everything got weird, Kate and her band of trusty companions, (Rozi Plain, Jamie Whitby-Coles, Jesse D Vernon, and Neil Smith), knuckled down to record what would become This is The Kit's fifth album Off Off On. Off Off On, was released in October 2020 to huge acclaim with Uncut calling it the bands “most multi-layered yet subtle work so far” and the Independent naming them One of the most original and musically gifted artists of today.

  • A-ha: The Movie
Cinema | (12A) | 108 minutes | 16th June 8:30pm A-ha's hit Take On Me is still one of the most played songs of the last millennium. This documentary follows the band over a period of four years, sharing the full story of how three young men followed their impossible dream of making it big. When Take On Me reached number 1 on Billboard in the US in 1985 that dream came true. Almost 35 years after their breakthrough, a-ha still creates magic on stage with their melancholic and timeless music. They tour the world but drive in separate cars and stay apart backstage. They only meet on stage, while doing the one thing they love. The film closely portrays the challenging creative and personal dynamics of a group of three strong individuals. This is a story of great music, big ambitions, broken friendship and maybe forgiveness.
