    Keswick Choral Society's popular annual Festival of Christmas Music and readings with favourite carols for Choir and Audience. Soloist Jonathan Millican joins in Vaughan Williams's Fantasia on Christmas Carols and extracts from Messiah. Tickets in advance attract a £3 discount (see website)

    Come and visit Santa in his quant, little grotto in the picturesque Hesket Newmarket (close to Caldbeck). All children who visit Santa will receive a gift and there will be an opportunity for photographs. £15 per child.
