At Care Services Cumberland there is a place for you whether you just need some support with daily tasks, or around the clock specialised care. Our professionally trained and highly experienced staff team provide support to older adults in safe and comfortable residential homes across the whole county - allowing people to stay local, closer to family and established community links.
Our residential care provides accommodation, nutritious meals, varied leisure activities, personal care and emotional support around the clock and 7 days a week. Our staff get to know each of our residents as individuals, providing truly personalised support. Placements are available for anyone over the age of 18 unable to live independently, either temporarily or for longer term care. Specialised services are available whether you are looking for caring and secure dementia support or looking to gain independence and live in a supported environment with other adults with physical and/or learning disabilities.
We invest in our staff team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have all the skills required to provide the highest standards of care. Our staff teams promote dignity at all times and residents are supported to maintain and promote independence. Wellbeing is integral, staff help residents to maintain strong relationships with family and friends, help residents to get active through activities such as chair exercise, and get outside as much as possible, in the gardens and local community.
We recognise that finding support for yourself or a loved one is an emotional and challenging time and we aim to provide as much support as possible to ease this process.
